Dr. Eric T. Goodcase
Dr. Eric T. Goodcase is a post-doctoral fellow working in the Human Development & Family Studies Department and the Center of Youth Development and Intervention. Dr. Goodcase received his PhD in Couple and Family Therapy at Kansas State University. Dr. Goodcase studies adolescent and emerging adult romantic relationship courtship and development and the role of technology in this process. This involves, but is not limited to, how this age group makes decisions to initiate a romantic relationship, influences on commitment trajectories, the use of online dating applications and social media in romantic relationships, and dating violence and sexual assault. He is also interested in community, school, and macro-level interventions that promote mental health and healthy relationships.
